Walter Henry Simpson, 71, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Barnard, KS, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018, in Oklahoma City. He was born May 9, 1947, in Salina, KS, to Henry and Dorothy (Wild) Simpson. Left to celebrate his life include: son, David Henry (Denise) Simpson, of Russell; daughters, Tracy Ann (Peter) Muth, of Beloit, KS, Eliza Jane Simpson, of Tahlequah, OK; brother, Pete (Melinda) Simpson, of Oklahoma City, OK; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, Suzie (Wright) Simpson, and a grandson. Service: 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, KS. Full military honors will take place at Union Valley Cemetery, Barnard, KS, following the memorial service.. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, in care of the funeral home. »
