Virginia Lee (Remus) Schneider, 89, of Hunter, KS, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, in Beloit. She was born September 16, 1928, at the family farm near Glen Elder, to Gustaf Emil and Ida Mary (Moyer) Remus. Left to celebrate her life include: son, Steven (Pam) Schneider, of Hunter; daughters, Bette (Alan) Wacker, of Hoisington and Joyce Schneider, of Hunter ;sisters, Hildred Bohm, of Joplin, MO, and Dorothy Bussen, of Wallace, KS; 5 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; spouse, Sylvester John Schneider; and brother, Darrell LaVerne Remus;. Visitation: 1-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, with family receiving friends 5-7:00 P.M. Service: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 19, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hunter, with interment following in Greenwood Union Cemetery, Hunter.
