Thelma Lorrraine Jensen, 86, died Monday, May 28, 2012, in Minneapolis, KS. She was born September 23, 1925, in rural Mitchell County to Clifford and Adeline (Geisler) Effland. She was a proud farm wife and embroiderer extraordinaire. Among the organizations to which she belonged were Northwest Rainbow EHU, Lincoln County Hospital Auxiliary, Methodist Women's Group, Lincoln County Senior Citizens' Crafts and Sunshine Club. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband of almost 66 years, Kenneth M. Jensen; brothers George and Mervin Effland; sister, Arlene Spicher. Surviving her are: sons, Steven (Kathy) Jensen of Olathe; Douglas (Vicki) Jensen of Minneapolis; daughter, Jean Jensen of Denver; sister, Shirley (Darrel) Kolling of Olathe; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation - 1-7:00 P.M. Thursday May 31, 2012 at Hall Chapel. Family will be present 5-7:00 P.M. Service - 10:00 A.M. Friday June 1, 2012 at Hall Chapel.
