Shannon Alan McKinney, Sergeant Major, U.S. Army retired, age 54, of Denmark, KS, died Friday, January 15, 2016, at home in Denmark. He was born in Hays, KS, on August 19, 1961, to William and Barbara (Myers) McKinney. He was preceded in death by his father. Left to celebrate his life include: wife, Donna, of the home; mother, Barbara McKinney, of Salina; brother, Shawn, of Rush County, KS; sister, Kelly McKinney, of Virginia Beach, VA; and niece, Alexandra House. Visitation: 1-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 19th, at Hall Chapel. Family present 5-7:00 P.M. Funeral: 1:00 P.M.
