Quentin J. Askey, 97, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in Lincoln. He was born October 2, 1919, to Lloyd and Theresa (Klameth) Askey in the Ash Grove KS area of rural Lincoln County. Quentin was a supply clerk for Beechcraft Aviation in Wichita. He was preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Lloyd (junior) Klameth Askey; and a sister, Maryella Bradley. He is survived by: nieces Kathy (Steve) Ross and Judy (Chris) Bauch; grand-nieces Emily, Sarah, and Matthew Bauch; special Wichita friend Cheryl Lewis; and Al Jo Wallace. Celebration of life will be held at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 1. Inurnment will follow in the Lincoln City Cemetery.
