Peggy Lou (Bartlett) Claypool

AURORA, CO

  Peggy Lou Claypool 88, passed away September 29, 2021, at her home in Aurora, CO. She was born December 11, 1932, in Salina, KS to Lawrence and Jennie (Bishop) Bartlett. Peggy married David Claypool on June 7, 1954, in Salina, KS.

  Peggy attended Kansas Wesleyan University and later graduated from Eastern Illinois University. She worked as an Elementary School Teacher and an Executive Secretary.

  Peggy is survived by her daughter Angela Claypool Stephenson and husband Scott of Parker, CO, and sister, Jean Anne Lustberg of New Jersey, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, David Claypool

  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Parsons Funeral Home – Hall Chapel, Lincoln, KS with burial following at the Lincoln Cemetery
