Pauline Fern (Spear) Brown

LINCOLN

  Pauline Fern Brown, 98, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Lincoln. She was born October 6, 1923, in Lincoln to Roxton Roy Spear and Ida Mae (Hobbs) Spear. Pauline married Albert Bird then later married Wilbur Brown after Albert’s passing. Pauline was a CNA at the Lincoln County Hospital and at Parkview Care Center nursing home in Osborne. She also provided adult and child daycare for many years while being a homemaker.

  Pauline is survived by her daughters, Karen Jeffers (Marvin) of Lincoln and Charlotte Bauer of Holt Summit, MO; sons, Francis Brown of Bartley, NE, Rex Brown (Barbara) of Osborne; Melvin Brown (June) of Park City, KS, and Kelvin Brown (Deb) of Leavenworth, KS; daughter Wilda Wolf (Robin) of Lincoln; 33 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Albert and Wilbur; infant son Albert Duane; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters.

  A private family burial has taken place at Lincoln Cemetery. A public memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
