Patrecia JoAnn Gorton, 77 years old residing in Wichita Kansas passed away on Friday June 13th at 12:12 pm. She passed away peacefully while resting comfortably with love and support from surrounding family. She was born in Newton, North Carolina on May 10th, 1937 on a beautiful sunny day to Raymond and Blanche Donabauer. She grew up on a ranch in rural Kansas graduating from high school in Beverly Kansas. Patrecia spent her early years living in Courtland, Kansas raising three children before starting a long career at Emprise bank in Wichita Kansas where she was highly respected and loved by many of her peers and customers; developing numerous long term friendships and business relationships. She always had a warm smile and a friendly approach to helping others. Patrecia will be forever remembered by her loving brothers and spouses Jack Donabauer, Michael and Jill Donabauer, beloved children Daniel and Louisa Gorton, Michael and Nancy Gorton and Amy and Robert Saathoff, treasured grandchildren Amanda and Lauren Gorton, Justin, Caleb and Brandon Saathoff, Olivia and Audrey Gorton, memorable great grandchildren Garrett and Paizley, admired nieces, nephews and families Rick Donabauer, Hal and Pamela Meltzer, Andrew Donabauer, Mabry and Michael Morrow. Her life was her children, grand-children, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, she lived for and loved to spend time with all of us. We loved her dearly and will cherish her memories and miss her every day. Services were provided by Hall Funeral Home, Lincoln Kansas and held at the Milo Cemetery near Barnard Kansas on June 17th at 11:00 am, Pastor Kaye Metzler officiating, with refreshments following at the Barnard community center in Barnard Kansas.
