MSgt. Michael Boyd Wise, retired, of Lincoln, KS, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Michael was born on February 2, 1953, to Vida Mae "Pat" Wise and raised in Elkhart, IN. MSgt. Wise honorably served our nation for 6 years in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam Era and 14 years with the 190th ARW Air National Guard-Topeka KS, retiring in 2008. In 2012, Mike retired from Kansas State University-Salina, as Director of Aircraft Maintenance. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to celebrate his life include: his wife of 40 years, Carol; sons, Niles and Nathan (Amanda) Wise; brother, Bob Wise, of Elkhart, IN; sisters, Debra May, of Elkhart, IN, Cindy Smith, of Elkhart, IN, Melody Wise, of Elkhart, IN, Rebecca (Jim) Silvernail, of New Paris, IN; and grandchildren, Damien, Maxwell & Aaron Wise. Cremation was selected with private inurnment.
