From: Lincoln KS Melvin Henry Louis Reinert, 90, of Lincoln, died Sunday at Hilltop Lodge Nursing Home in Beloit, KS. Melvin was born in rural Lincoln County Kansas, on July 14, 1923, to William L. and Amanda (Serrien) Reinert. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Harold; sister, Lorna Reinert. Left to celebrate his life include: his wife, Luella, of Lincoln; daughters Joan (Bill) Detmer of Lincoln, Ruth (Gary) Sorensen of Sylvan Grove, and Gaylene (Jerry) Sorell of Beloit; sister, Dorothy (Penny) Andreson of Lincoln; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation is 1-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Family will be present 5-7:00 P.M.Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 13, at St. John Lutheran Church, Lincoln. Interment will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Solomon Valley Hospice.
