From: Lincoln KS Mary Elizabeth (Greene) Wilson, 100, of Lincoln, KS, died Monday, January 16, 2017, in Lincoln. She was born August 28, 1916, in Lincoln, to Rockwell W. and Selma Matilda (Nelson) Greene. Mary Beth graduated from Lincoln High School in 1935, attended Kansas State University one year, and graduated from Asbury School of Nursing in 1941. She worked as an RN at the Lincoln County Hospital for over 30 years. On January 3, 1942, Mary Beth and Thomas W. Wilson were married at Lincoln. To this union were born one son, Douglas, and three daughters, Cynthia, Maxine and Nancy. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Thomas Wesley Wilson, who died in 2003; brother, Rockwell Greene; sister, Marion Turner; grandson, Dale Wilson and granddaughter, Laura Kelso Moody. Left to celebrate her life include: son, Douglas (Joan) Wilson, of Lincoln; daughters, Cynthia (Don) Kelso, of Dayton, IN, Maxine (Ned) Garrigues, of San Diego, CA, Nancy (Randy) Robinson, of Manhattan; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Alma McCauley. Visitation: 1-5:30 P.M. Friday, January 20, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Service: 10:30 Saturday, January 21, at Hall Chapel, with interment following in Lincoln City Cemetery.
