Obituary

GREAT BEND

  Mark Alan Rogers, 58, passed away March 29, 2023 in Great Bend. He was born March 23, 1965, in Lincoln, KS to Ralph Henry and Judy Ann (Meyer) Rogers.

  Mark served his country in the US Navy in the Persian Gulf during the Iran-Iraq conflict aboard the USS Guadalcanal. He was a Residence Life Coordinator at Barton County Community College, and a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

  Mark is survived by his mother, Judy Donley, of Lincoln; sister, Lori Soeken (Rob) of Great Bend; sister, Joni Zink of Bushton; brother, Greg Rogers of Shawnee; sister, Lisa Feldkamp (Mark) of Lincoln; 3 nieces; 6 nephews; 6 great-nieces; 9 great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Rogers; brother-in-law, Joseph Zink; step-father, Jim Donley; and nephew, Jared Soeken.

  Memorial service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln with burial following in the church cemetery.
