Lowell Vonada, 76, of Lincoln, KS, died Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Salina. He was born April 8, 1937, to Alfred and Helen (Peck) Vonada in rural Lincoln County, KS. Left to celebrate his life include: his wife, Rita (Augustynick) Vonada, of the home; sons Randall S. (Krystal) Pickering, of Barnard, Daniel (Mindy) Pickering, of Hays, KS, Rick McGarry, of Richardson, TX; daughters Jan (Curtis) Cooke, of Tampa, FL, Robin Dexter, of Grand Island, NE, Rinda (David) Beard, of Alva, OK; brother Leo Duane (Donna) Vonada, of Sylvan Grove, KS; sister-in-law Jane Vonada, of Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren He was preceded in death by: his parents and brother, Delmar Vonada. Visitation - 1-7:00 P.M. Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Hall Chapel, with family receiving friends 5-7:00 P.M. Funeral service - 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Lincoln United Methodist Church, Lincoln, KS, with interment in Rosette Cemetery.
