Louis Dean Hendrickson, 89, of Lincoln, KS, died Thursday, November 21, 2013, in Wilson, KS. Louis was born in Lincoln, KS, on September 5, 1924, to Louis and Carrie McFarland Hendrickson. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Chloris Lewick; son, Martin Dean; and grandson, Travis Hendrickson. Left to celebrate his life include: wife, Ruth (Rathbun) Hendrickson; sons Terry of Lincoln, KS and Michael of Texas; sister, Donna Lewick of Lincoln; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Cremation was selected and a graveside service for both he and his wife will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Lincoln City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to VFW Post #7928 or The Radish Patch, Lincoln's community garden, in care of Hall Funeral Home, 111 E. Elm, Lincoln, KS 67455.
