Loren L. Powell, 68, of Beverly, KS, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, in Lincoln. He was born January 29, 1950, in Salina, to Clay Jewel and Zelma Marie (Jones) Powell. Left to celebrate his life include: spouse, Maria (Flores) Powell, of the home; sons, Jose Munoz, of Big Spring, TX, Ron Munoz (fiancee, Ludora Shows), of Parrish, AL; daughters, Michelle (Heath) McLaughlin, of Manhattan, KS, Honesty Powell (partner Shannon VanSickle), of Salina, KS, Dallas Powell, of Grand Island, NE; 18 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Jim and Norman Powell; infant sister, Marvella. Visitation: 5-7:00 P.M. Friday, July 20, 2018, at Beverly Community Center, Beverly, KS. Service: 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Episcopal Christ Cathedral Church, Salina, with interment at 5:30 P.M. in Beverly Cemetery, Beverly.
