Joshua Haesemeyer Obituary

LINCOLN

Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through his servant, Joshua.

Joshua Justin Haesemeyer was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to parents Larry and Linda Haesemeyer. He was reborn as a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism as an infant. On April 15, 1984 he was confirmed in the Christian faith and was fed the life-giving body and blood of Jesus. He was united in holy marriage to Christa Crawford on September 13, 1997 and were blessed with 24 years of married life together. God also blessed them with the gift of children: Tru Emelie and Temper Dean Haesemeyer. October 5, 2021 God called Joshua home to heaven. He is survived by his wife and two children; Larry and Elizabeth Haesemeyer; Linda (Snyder) Burkenbine; sisters Shelly Haesemeyer and Jennie LaPointe, and one brother James LaPointe. Josh is predeceased by Richard and Dorothy Snyder (grandparents) and Ella Haesemeyer (grandmother). Blessed are the dead who die in the lord.

The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our brother Joshua Justin Haesemeyer.
