John E. Gardner, 71, of Lincoln, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Lincoln, KS. He was born December 22, 1947, in Frankfort, KS, to Lenuel Cleo and Eleanor Ann (Morton) Gardner. Left to celebrate his life include: his wife, Patricia (Dunlap) Gardner, of the home; sons, Ian (Lindsay) Gardner, of Albuquerque, NM and Jake (Kati) Gardner, of Lincoln, KS; daughter, Cameo Ibsen, of Kansas City, MO; brothers, Bob (Theresa) Gardner and Jerry (Amy) Meeks, both of Olathe, KS; sisters, Beverly Dawson and Jan (David) Maxwell, both of Buckner, MO; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation: 1-7:00 P.M. Friday, June 7, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, with family receiving friends 5-7:00 P.M. Service: 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8, at Lincoln Junior/Senior High Schooll, Lincoln, with interment following at a later date.
