Jay Royce Cromwell, 86, of Lincoln, KS, died Friday, December 5, 2014, in Lincoln, KS. Jay was born in Lincoln, KS, on August 17, 1928, to Daniel Day and Florence Evaline (Metz) Cromwell. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Clint and Danny Cromwell; and sisters, Shirley Walter and Shiela MacArthur. Left to celebrate his life include: his wife, Deloris (Panzer) Cromwell, of the home; sons, John (Kathe) Cromwell of Andover, KS and Jori (Kenalyn) Cromwell of Panama City, FL; daughter, Jaynell (Ken) Cole of Russell, KS; sister-in-law, Nola Cromwell of Lincoln; and brothers-in-law, Gerald Walter of Lincoln and Jim MacArthur of Tucson, Arizona; 8 granchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation is 1-7:00 P.M. Monday, December 8, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Family will greet friends 5-7:00 P.M. Funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, with interment following in Lincoln City Cemetery.
