James Albert Cantwell, 71, passed away Friday, Jun 19, 2020 at Lincoln Park Manor in Lincoln, KS from complications of a progressive liver disease. He was born September 25, 1948 in Miami, FL to the late John F. and Lucy (James) Cantwell. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother John F. Cantwell of Kissimmee, FL. Jim married Angie Schroeder of Kissimmee (formerly of Beverly, KS) on July 6, 1995 in Gatlinburg, TN. He is survived by his wife Angie of the home, his Aunt Jennie Florian of Stuart, FL, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was a longtime resident of Kissimmee, Florida, graduating from Osceola High School and working as a Utility Planner for the Kissimmee Utility Authority until his retirement in 2004. He and Angie then moved to a small farm in Micanopy, FL. It is here that he enjoyed retirement with his wife, love of the farm, his cows, and the Florida Gators, until his declining health prompted the move with Angie back home to Kansas, where he spent his final days.
