LINCOLN
Helen Viola Finch, 99, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Lincoln, KS. She was born December 16, 1922, in Russell County, KS to Eli and Grace (McConnell) Miller.
Helen married Cleo U. Finch in June of 1939. They were longtime residents of the Natoma, KS area where they raised their four children.
Helen is survived by her sons, Dennis Finch (Carol) of Union City, OK and Doug Finch (Tracy Pfeifer) of Salina, KS; grandchildren, Darren Houdeshell, Diahann Suchan (Jeff), Donovan Finch (Lisa), Steven Finch (Jordan), Darcy Couse (Justin), Denyse Kattenberg (David), and Dayna Weltmer (Tim); great grandchildren, Dustin Finch, Destiny Byers, Dylan Houdeshell, Andrew and Danielle Suchan, Brady Finch, Dharma and Dayton Couse, Dakota and Dominick Kattenberg, and Deklynn, Drake, Darris, and Dayvie Weltmer; and great-great grandchildren, Easton, Wells, Harley, and Clara. She was preceded in death by her husband Cleo; son Darrell Dean Finch; daughter Darlene Houdeshell; granddaughter, Debbra Houdeshell; and siblings, Earnest, Bessie Lee, Robert, Harry, Irvin, Dean, and Kenneth.
Visitation: 1-7 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, at Parsons Funeral Home – Hall Chapel, Lincoln with family present 5-7 p.m.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Natoma United Methodist Church with burial following at Natoma Cemetery.
