Gerald E. Schneider, 87, of, Lincoln, KS, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018, in Hays. He was born August 16, 1930, in Sylvan Grove, KS, to Harold Edward and Matilda Irene (Hower) Schneider. He and Marge Rogers were married in August, 1956. To this union three sons were born. Gerald graduated from Salina High School. He then attended Kansas Wesleyan University, and completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Kansas University. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Marc Schneider, and brother, Robert Schneider. Left to celebrate his life include: wife, Marge (Rogers) Schneider, of the home; sons, Patrick (Tracey) Schneider, of Littleton, CO, Todd Schneider, of Cartersville, GA; sister, Lois (Dennis) Adams, of Georgetown, TX; sister-in-law, Ruth Schneider, of Kansas City, MO; and 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: 3:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, February 18, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Family present 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. Service: 10:30 A.M.
