From: Lincoln KS Evelyn Janice (Whitmer) Bolte, 77, of Lincoln, KS, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, in Lincoln, KS. Evelyn was born in Wilson, KS, on June 26, 1937, to Samuel Albert and Mary Katherine (Damker) Whitmer. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Ray Clifford Bolte; daughter, Sheila Walter; brother, Van Earl Whitmer. Left to celebrate her life include: daughter, Tamara (Doug) Rees of Beverly; son-in-law, Devon Walter of Lincoln; sister-in-law Shirley Whitmer; grandchildren, Brent (Megan) Rees, Jared Rees, Riggston Walter, Taegen Walter; great-grandchildren, Mya Rees, Beckett Rees. Visitation is 1-7:00 P.M. Monday, March 2, 2015, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Funeral service at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Hall Chapel, with interment following in Lincoln City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lincoln Carnegie Library Children's Department.
