Ernest "Ernie" F. Luck, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at his home in Lincoln County, KS. He was born June 26, 1927 in Lincoln County to Fred J. and Anna Marie (Klein) Luck. Ernie was a longtime resident of Lincoln County where he was a farmer. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church of Lincoln. He married Rea Norva Nelson in Texas on November 9, 1946. Ernie is survived by his daughters, Rita Rogers of Jewell, KS, Joyce Fiscus (Alan) of Conway, AR, and Janet Gehring of Hesston; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and four great- great grandchildren; and sister, Verna Doris Byarley of Reno, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rea; brothers, Walter, Paul, and Ray Luck; nephew, John Luck; granddaughter, Sara Rogers; and great granddaughters, Taylor Fiscus and Courtney Rogers. Graveside funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Lincoln Cemetery.
