Ellen Svejda, 91, of Lincoln (formerly of Kansas City) died in Salina, KS, on August 25, 2017. She was born in Hancock County, Iowa, to Ben Loots Jr. and Mollie Raber Loots. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Raymond F. Svejda; son, Kenneth Svejda; daughter, Darcie Svejda; grandson, Dustin Guerra-Prats; and sisters, Betty and Sharon. Ellen is survived by: children, Jerald (Rita) Svejda, of Kansas City, MO; Gwen (Danny) Knight, of Lincoln, KS; and Shirley (Brent) Uhl, of Port Aransas, TX; grandchildren, Jesse, Ben, Amanda, Jennifer, Kristie, Amber, Andy, Emilie, Austin; great-grandchildren, Nick, Jacob, Caitlyn, Alissa, Blake, Logan; and great-great-grandson, Nick Jr. Family and friends will gather for a casual graveside service on Saturday, September 9th, 12:00 noon, at Park Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO.
