Eleanor Fayenne (Churchill) Howell Clarke, 88 of Lincoln, KS, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, in Lincoln. She was born December 12, 1929, in Bloomington, NE, to Orville and Eleanor (Brown) Churchill. Left to celebrate her life include: sons, Richard (Quinnetta) Howell, of Cabool, MO, Don (Deb) Howell, of Lincoln, KS, Mark (Renee) Howell, of Grey, GA; sisters, Jonquil Volk, of Bloomington,NE, Sharon Greenwood, of Superior, NE; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Robert Howell and Paul Clarke; infant daughter, Virginia Fayenne Howell; brother, Loren Churchill; sisters, Vennette McCain and Ione Greenwood. Eleanor grew up around the Bloomington area and attended school until the 10th grade. She married Robert Howell on October 12, 1947. To this union three boys were born and a stillborn baby girl, Virginia Fayenne. Eleanor and Robert lived on a farm outside of Bloomington until moving to Missouri in 1964. They lived there and celebrated 51 years of marriage until Robert passed away in 1999. Later, she then married Paul Clarke. He passed away in 2005. That same year Eleanor entered Lincoln Park Manor. Eleanor spent her life as a devoted homemaker. She raised her three boys and worked along side her husband, Robert, on the farm. She loved to cook and bake. Her love for the Lord was evident in her everyday life. She had attended the Nazarene and Wesleyan Churches. Visitation: 1-6:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 31, with family present 4-6:00 P.M. at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Graveside service: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 1, at Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin, NE, with Reverend Scott Randall officiating. Memorials may be made to Lincoln Park Manor, in care of Hall Funeral Home, 111 E.
