Elbert Paul Buttenhoff, 90, of, Lincoln, KS, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in Lincoln. He was born February 28, 1928, in Lincoln, to August and Maria (Behrens) Buttenhoff. He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Delores Mae (Meier) Buttenhoff; infant daughter, Luann; brother, Harold; sisters, Myrtice Plinsky, Almira Sloat, and Margaret Bolte; and son-in-law, Dick Bunch. Left to celebrate his life include: son, Ron (Jo) Buttenhoff, of Lincoln; daughters, Sandra Bunch, of Ellsworth, Patricia Lewick, of Salina, and Elaine (Patrick) Klinefelter, of DesMoines, IA; sisters, Ruth Place, of Ellsworth and Joy Weber, of Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 17, at St. John Lutheran Church, Lincoln. A private inurnment will take place at a later date in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
