Dwight C. Heller

LINCOLN

  Dwight C. Heller, 77, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 in Lincoln, KS. He was born October 17, 1948 in Beloit, KS to Emerson and Ruth (Cairns) Heller. He was a longtime resident of Lincoln County where he was a farmer and stockman and owned Lincoln Rentals. He married Anna Stoppel in 1994.

  Dwight is survived by his daughters, Becky Hillegeist (Tracy) of Beverly, KS and Diane Mann (Tim) of Bennington, KS; step children, Kenny Lantz, Marlene Dame, Dan Lantz, and Kristi Gayle; grandchildren, Dustin Hillegeist (Jessi), Ethan Hillegeist, Kristen Anders (Augustus), Stacy Howard (Hayden), Sierra Mann, and Colton Hillegeist (Brittany); great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Luke, Matthew, Robin, Adeline, and Malakai; brother Loren Heller (Kay) of Hunter, KS; as well as many nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Anna; daughter Robin Margaret; sister Carol; and stepdaughter Sharon.

  A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2026 at Spillman Cemetery, near the community of Ash Grove in northwest Lincoln County. A luncheon will follow at The CUBE in downtown Lincoln.
