Duane Scott Helus

LINCOLN

  Duane Scott Helus, 62, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was born December 18, 1962 in Salina, KS to Fred and Annette (Brown) Helus. Duane was united in marriage to Florence Diane Steinborn on August 25, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church, Lincoln.

  Duane was preceded in death by his parents and brother Terry Lee Helus. He is survived by his wife Diane of Lincoln; step-daughter Ida Marie Steinborn; daughters, Kimberly Dawn and Chloe Lynn Helus; sister Linda Rosebrook (Dan); niece Jennifer Dionne (Charles); nephew Mike Rosebrook (Sara); and niece Stacey Gawith (Matthew).

  The family has chosen cremation. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
