From: Lincoln KS Douglas "Doug" Ford, 76, passed away March 12, 2020 in Lincoln. He was born July 18, 1943 in Agra, KS. Doug is survived by his daughters, Meita (Jeff) Lyne of Lincoln, Jacqueline (Aaron) Esterl of Beloit, KS, Katherine Ford (Gordon Engelke) of Moran, WY, and Stephanie (Dan) Heina of Lincoln; son, Kenton (Amanda) Ford of Lincoln; 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Maggie (Marvin) Meisinger of Marion, KS, Diane (Ernel) Henry of Arlington, TX, and Donna (Warren) Kreutziger of Marion; brothers, Orren (Earlene) Bronson of Hays, KS and Don (Cathy) Bronson of Smithville, MO; and a whole lot of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma (Emme) and Warren Bronson; and grandparents, Louie and Maggie Emme and Warren C. Bronson. Doug graduated from Kensington High School, the Class of 1961. He thoroughly enjoyed hosting his classmates in his home in Kensington for their 55 th class reunion. Shortly after high school graduation, Doug went to work for the feed mill in Kensington and then went to work with Thaine Larson at his registered hog farm. From there he went on to Ionia, KS to work at Rose Pork productions, then the feed yards near Mankato, KS. After being injured and disabled and finally retiring, Doug moved back to Kensington, what had been his parents' home. Because of severe illness, he moved to Lincoln to be closer to his kids. Doug was such a likeable guy. He loved his animals, the farm, and just the great outdoors. **SERVICES FOR DOUG HAVE BEEN POSTPONED TO AN UNDETERMINEDDATE.
