Donna Jean (Hubenka) Fidone

BEVERLY

  Donna Jean Fidone, 94, passed away November 5, 2023 in Lincoln, KS. She was born May 24, 1929 in Council Bluffs, IA to Dr. Albin and Elsie (Korff) Hubenka. Donna was a devoted wife and loving mother who loved quilting, sewing, playing the piano, macrame and watching and/or listening to Husker football.

  Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Luciano (Louie) Fidone; daughter Dr. Dianna Fidone Griggs; parents, Elsie Korff Hubenka and Dr. Albin H. Hubenka; sister Katherine Vana; and brothers, Eugene and Albin Hubenka. She is survived by sons, Jerrold Fidone, David Fidone, and James (Jodi) Fidone; daughter Joann Fidone Schwindt; and many grand and great-grandchildren.

  Donna will be buried with her husband Louie at the Omaha National Cemetery.

  A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023 at Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, NE.
