LINCOLN
Dolores Elaine (Obenhaus) Obermueller, 90, passed away November 10, 2025, at Lincoln Park Manor of Lincoln, KS. She was born February 1, 1935, to Adolph “Buddy” and Agnes (Buhrkuhl) Obenhaus in Kress, TX. Dolores married Virgil Theodore Obermueller on July 25, 1955, in Kress. Dolores studied music at St. John’s College in Winfield, KS. She was active in the St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Westfall, KS, where she was a member of LWML and the church organist for many years. In addition to her love for music, Dolores was also a very artistic and creative person, making many beautiful quilts and afghans for family. Dolores was an elementary teacher at the Westfall Grade School. She also worked at the Sanitary Dairy, Heinz IGA and the majority of her career at the Bank of Tescott.
Dolores is survived by her son Randy Obermueller and wife Greta of Lincoln. Their family includes: Ryan’s children Shelby (Bryce) Leonard and their children Maverick, Wade, and Cohen; Sean, Avery, and Kendall; Rob (Kellie) Obermueller and children Riley and Kaylee; and Abbie (Dale) Weigel and children Logan and Adley. Dolores is also survived by her daughter Terri and husband Art Wagoner of Wilson. Their family includes: Nathan; Drew (Kim) and children Olivia and Max; Camille (Justin) Witt and children Ava, Cooper, Cannon and Violet; and Matthew (Miranda) Wagoner and children Braxton, Brynleigh and Brystal. Dolores is also survived by brother Harold (Ruth) Obenhaus of Plainview, TX. Dolores was proceeded in death by her husband Virgil, her grandson Ryan, her parents, and sisters, Evelyn, Sylvia and Bernita.
Visitation: 1-7 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Hall Chapel of Lincoln. Family will be present to greet visitors 5-7 p.m.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Westfall. A private family burial will take place at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
