Darlene Annette Kriegh Anderson, 54, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at her home. She was born in Cheyenne Wells, CO, on January 31, 1958, to Donnie and Arlene (Swartz) Kriegh. They lived in Sharon Springs, KS, where Darlene attended grade school. Donnie passed away in 1969, and Arlene later married Phil Abell. The family then moved to Barnard, KS. Darlene attended Lincoln Jr/Sr High School and graduated in 1976. Darlene and Guy Steven Anderson were married May 1, 1982, and to this union were born two children, Jason and Jennifer. Darlene was a farm wife and was also employed as a secretary. She was predeceased by her parents, father-in-law Guy Anderson, and son Jason. Left to celebrate her life are: husband Steven of the home; mother-in-law Madonna Anderson of Burlington, CO; daughter Jennifer (Darin) Drake and granddaughters Alexis and Kyla of Beloit; daughter-in-law Tina Bowlin and grandson Caden Anderson of Glen Elder, KS; father Phil Abell of Coweta, OK; sisters Carrie (Gary) Meili of Lincoln, KS, Jacki (Dennis) Person of Minneapolis, KS, and Annissa (Randy) Turner of Catoosa, OK; brothers Daryl Kriegh of Lincoln, KS, Bruce Kriegh, and Chris (Angela) Abell of Salina, KS; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also, very special cousins Steve and Lynn Wiesner of Lenexa, KS. The memorial book will be available for signing at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen and the memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 8, at Hall Chapel in Lincoln, KS. Private inurnment in Beverly Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Tammy Walker Cancer Center. » View what others have shared.
