Carrie Lou (Hobb) Markley, 91, of Lincoln, KS, died Friday, June 26, 2015, in Salina, KS. Carrie Lou was born in Lincoln, KS, on June 4, 1924, to James Luman Garfield and Myrtle Lillian (Bird) Hobb. She was preceded in death by: son, Richard Bud Markley; daughter, Deanna Lea Markley; brother, Edward Hobb; sisters, Alice Hobb, Onieda Eslinger, Birdie Veh, May Canaga and Ella Cleaver; and a great-great grandson. Left to celebrate her life include: daughter, Lillian (Randy) Phillips of Salina; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.. Visitation is 1-7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Family will greet friends 5-7:00 P.M. Funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln, with interment following in Lincoln City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lincoln United Methodist Church or Lincoln Wesleyan Church.
