Carol LeAnn Detmer, 53, died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Lincoln County Hospital in Lincoln, KS Carol was born in Ada, OK, on October 19, 1963, to Thomas E. and Patsy J. Skidmore. She was preceded in death by her son, Dalton Thomas Detmer; her parents; her brother, Rick Skidmore; nephew, Beau Skidmore; and father-in-law, Roland F. Detmer. Left to celebrate her life include her husband, Dale Detmer; daughter, Kathryn Detmer; son, Koby Detmer, all of the home; brothers: Mike (Pam) Skidmore and Terry Skidmore; sister-in-law, Jennifer Skidmore; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Joan Detmer; mother-in-law, Marvel Detmer; nephews, Tyler Skidmore, Sammy (Nicole) Skidmore, Michael Marler, and Joey Skidmore; nieces, Angela (Geremy) Cloyd, Stacy (Garett) Cloyd, Emmy Skidmore, 3 grand nephews, and 2 grand nieces; special family member Jadon Troxell, of the home, and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00, Friday, February 3, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lincoln. A private burial will follow at a later date.
