You were our rock, the peacemaker, and always our comforter when the world was upside down. Your strength and compassion always kept us anchored and on track. Our queen of the kitchen, you would prepare endless meals, fried chicken, gravy, pies, cakes, and TEA RING for your loving family. We were so thankful for your lunch wagon harvest meals. You were the happiest girl in the whole USA to drive Smiley to help in the field. Always having and finding a use for everything under the sun.The goals you set to fulfill in your life were to be a beautician, teacher, and nurse. You wanted your legacy to be remembered as being considerate, kind and patient; to love one another, and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Your prayer in growing older was to be the Sweetest Little Old Lady. To us, Mema, you fulfilled each of those goals and more. Never letting your hands set idle you were always the one to serve us. Being so strong, it took us so long to know that something was wrong, but we finally saw our chance to serve you.So here is our double-handed wave as you waltz across heaven with Pop. You are home again, home again, Jig Jig. Take care whatever you are going to do!" BYE, LOVE YOU!
