From: Lincoln KS Alma Lutitia (Wilson) McCauley, 105, of Lincoln, KS, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, in Lincoln. She was born September 11, 1913, on a farm NE of Denmark, KS, to John W. and Adah L. (Lyne) Wilson, the fifth of nine children. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1933. Alma married John P. McCauley January 21, 1937. They owned and operated the McCauley Grocery from 1948 to 1960. She was a member of Lincoln Methodist Church, Eastern Star, VFW and Legion Auxiliaries. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Ellen (Nellie) Lemmons, William (Ted), Walter (Jim), John Woodrow, Thomas, Benjamin, Louis Wayne, Bessie Allinder. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation: 1:00-5:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 20, at Hall Chapel, Lincoln. Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 21, at Hall Chapel, with interment following in Lincoln City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Carnegie Library or Lincoln Art Center.
